Lo Air

Romania’s largest electronic music duo, Lo Air has been controlling the radio and Spotify playlists in their region since the beginning of 2016. Their single “Hearts On Fire” has been streamed over 350,000 times on Spotify. Their other single, “Day And Night,” reached over one million views on YouTube and was recently picked up by Sony. It also charted on several FM stations in Romania along with BBC Radio One. Thirty push-ups and a shot of tequila each is all the preparation Lo Air needs to throw down a killer set. They transform from laid-back, unassuming 24-year-olds into the scene-stealing DJ and production powerhouse that they are. While their warm-ups are routine, Lo Air’s performances are anything but. Their sets are musical joyrides. With the guys at the wheel, they speed from deep house and hip-hop into booming electro, take unexpected detours with funk and R&B, and screech to a halt for massive bass drops. Despite Lo Air’s wild, unpredictable sets, everything the duo does (both on stage and in the studio) is unified by a simple mission statement: death to genres. As they’ve promoted their genre-free ethos, Lo Air has become bona fide tastemakers to fans and fellow artists alike, proving that “dance music” is best defined as whatever makes you move. Their all-inclusive style is best exemplified in their mixes and original music, which resist classification and instead go for maximum energy. Now the guys are prepping a barrage of new releases as part of a freshly-inked deal with Maek and Sony. Whether you prefer to say the powerhouse duo is killing genres or creating their own, one thing is clear: Lo Air is on a bold musical mission, and they’re taking us along for the ride.

They harness live vocals, drums, and dirty drops to give you a performance that is absolute chaos. Almost taking on the vibe of a heavy rock concert, the energy given off by Willy Wompa is an intoxicating energy that a crowd can’t resist.

RedBull Thre3style competitor Skyrockit is a master of all things deep and progressive house. After learning from the legendary Jazzy Jeff, the electrifying artist was called “one of the most exciting DJs on the planet” by DJ Mag Canada. His most recent tour included stops at Mamby On The Beach and at several nightclubs, concerts, and music festivals, including opening for Summerfest. There appears to be no process supporting the madness of Skyrockit’s diversity and multi-genre abilities. He is as free and untamed as the twisters he pursues. Against the actual carpe diem approach, Skyrockit is never fearful to remind you that he’s the league MVP.

Blare

Electro-pop artist Blare is one of Madrid’s rising stars from the city’s surging electronic music scene. His eclectic style and uncanny ability to read the room make him a master of the increasingly lost art of setting the mood. Whether he's whipping the club kids into a frenzy with one big-room anthem after another or building almost unbearable tension with sinister house and tribal grooves, Blare can work any crowd like a cross-fader. It comes at no surprise he has received support from top-shelf headliners such as The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Galantis, and Disclosure. His live performances have received praise from Jack U and Major Lazer after they saw several of his performances at underground raves. Now ready to supplant his name within a broader electronic music scene, Blare is set to release his debut EP in 2017.

Hamabata

This LA-born DJ/producer is not afraid to cross boundaries and break musical barriers. He presents massive, dance-floor destroying sets that compete with any button-pusher's show while avoiding the kind of spiraling breakdown cliches and grating synth sirens that have ruined clubland for the adults among us. He rinses breakbeats and contemporary house sounds without ever sounding cheesy. Kleinenberg gets in early on those "it" tracks every other jock will be playing three months from now. His original productions mix different genres of music and sounds to create enticing masterpieces. He has also performed at a plethora of venues including Soundbar, The MID, Diamond Club, and even the very first Spring Awakening Music Festival in 2012.

Miel

Tough girl with a slick tongue, Miel embodies the lifestyle behind her bad gal persona. The American rapper, singer, producer, and songwriter has a backstory that reads like an alternate version of a musical drama. Daughter of two Navy Chiefs, Miel has never lived in one place for longer than two years. This migration has been a huge influence on her signature sound. Infusing unapologetic rap vocals into various sub-genres of house, trance, and trap, her unique take of electronic music has earned her praise by critics and fans alike. Her bass-heavy, sexually charged number called “Ill Mind” put her in the public eye. Being an overnight success, BBC and NME gave the track rave reviews. In 2017, she is releasing her debut EP featuring several tracks influenced by house music. She will be relocating to London that same year to work on her debut full-length album. Her ability to flow over beats that no one else would even go near, is impressive to say the least. She is truly a stand out for her undeniable talent, cool new sound, and edgy lyrics.

Bathos

Seattle-based producer Bathos is a well-known staple within the underground electronic music community. He is supported by notables such as Breaux, Instant Party, and Kill Paris. Famous for birthing the genre of future-trap, Bathos single-handedly designed a new genre of music. For years Bathos was Seattle’s best-kept secret, a producer's producer whose records occupied places of honor in every trap and future bass DJ's crate even as his name remained unfamiliar to casual electronic music fans. Thanks to a prolific hot streak that has included a killer contribution to the FabricLive DJ mix series and innovative floor-fillers like ‘I Know’, Bathos is no longer a secret. His live sets are subtle, sinewy, and flawlessly sequenced--especially when he sticks to his own material, which he has been favoring as of late. Trap music could not ask for a better ambassador.
